Rebecca completed her degree at the University of East Anglia. Since qualifying, she worked in both the NHS and the private sector before starting Halstead Physiotherapy Clinic in 2000, Haverhill Physiotherapy Clinic in 2006 and Braintree Physiotherapy Clinic in 2009.
Rebecca has completed a postgraduate course in Sports Physiotherapy and regularly attends physiotherapy courses on the latest standards and techniques. Prior to starting the clinic, Rebecca worked as a physiotherapist to the National Volleyball squad.
Victor qualified in 1991 and did his junior rotational practice in musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, cardiorespiratory, paediatrics, medicine, surgery and neurology.
He has worked as a practicing clinical physiotherapist for many years and currently works as an academic physiotherapist (teaching undergraduate physiotherapy students).
His specialities include neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy and the rehabilitation of long term conditions, specifically neurological conditions. Victor continues to keep abreast with the latest research and treatment techniques within the physiotherapy profession. He works weekends at the Halstead Physiotherapy Clinic and is also trained in Acupuncture.
Elliott qualified in 2003 from the University of Southampton and commenced his professional career in Cardiff. Prior to this, he had worked as a physiotherapy assistant in Stoke-on-Trent since 1998. During his time as a junior physiotherapist in South Wales, he gained further experience working in areas such as mental health, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopaedic medicine, elderly rehabilitation, respiratory medicine, surgical, paediatrics, hydrotherapy and musculoskeletal outpatients. His first senior post was spent working in intensive care as well as leading the rehabilitation of post-op amputee patients. Whilst in Cardiff, Elliott worked part-time for Cardiff Blues Rugby Club as well as working full-time for Cardiff City Football Club.
In 2006 Elliott moved to Colchester where he continued to work with various sports clubs including swimming and rugby teams. He also worked at a local private hospital; specializing in musculoskeletal outpatients, which enabled him to build close relations with local orthopaedic consultants and other specialists' consultants/sports physicians and podiatrists. During his time at this hospital, Elliott specialised in treating spinal conditions working as an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP) alongside the spinal and pain consultants, requesting scans and blood tests as well as orchestrating complex spinal patients' management.
In July 2009, Elliott commenced working for Lane Physiotherapy Ltd at the newly opened Braintree and Bocking Physiotherapy Clinic and started practicing at the Halstead Physiotherapy Clinic in November 2009. Elliott continues to stay abreast of the latest research and treatment techniques within the physiotherapy profession and regularly attends post-graduate training courses. Elliott also continues to work on a local orthopaedic ward on a regular basis to keep up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and post-op inpatient rehabilitation programs.
His specialist areas are spinal injuries, sports medicine and general rehabilitation. Elliott has received additional training in the treatment and assessment of problems with dizziness/vertigo. He is experienced in developing bespoke vestibular rehabilitation plans and performing special inner-ear maneuvers to resolve problems with dizziness and balance.
Laura graduated from University of Hertfordshire with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Since qualifying Laura has worked in the NHS across various locations including Hertfordshire, Wiltshire and Norfolk, and has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Laura has also worked in the private sector before joining the team here at Haverhill Physiotherapy Clinic.
Laura continues to update her knowledge by regularly attending courses in manual therapy and sports rehabilitation, as well as completing a Masters Research course; ensuring that she is up-to-date with current evidence-based treatments.
Laura has qualified in acupuncture and uses this to treat various conditions when appropriate. She has also recently undergone a k-taping course to be able to treat sports injuries.Laura is also trained in assessing and treating vestibular problems, such as dizziness. This can often be treated in one session and may involve some home exercises.
Since graduating from Coventry University in 2012 Sean has worked for Leicester City Football Club, The Trauma Complex, intensive care, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal departments at Ipswich Hospital before beginning work for the MOD and Army. Sean has also worked with several GP practises, social enterprises and privately since 2013.
Specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Sean has specific interest in sports injuries and pain.
Sean plans to complete a non medical prescribing course in the near future.
Amy Cox qualified in 2003, working within the NHS for the initial five years of her career gaining a comprehensive grounding in physiotherapy before moving into a specialised role in outpatients.
Amy has since worked within the private sector in hospital, gym and clinic settings, as well as working within amateur sport for several years. Her speciality is within the MSK outpatient setting, particularly rehabilitation; focusing on both manual therapy and exercise therapy.
